MER Clinic: Car Orders Without the Numbers

This presentation describes a simple method of generating car movements that closely resemble the prototype, but without having to reference the individual reporting marks on the cars. This is par-ticularly useful for clubs where member equipment may come and go, N scale where the reporting marks are almost invisible, and for anyone who wants an operating system, but doesn?t want to go through the trouble of re-numbering a lot of rolling stock. It is also a self healing system ? you can?t loose or misplace cars or car cards.
